Kotoko are in talks with Wamanafo Mighty Royals for the their center back Maxwell Agyemang following Ganiyu non-extension contract

The Maxwell Agyemang is viewed as extraordinary player compared to other division one players in the lower level side, having drawn in the consideration of a few clubs including Kotoko.

He has been on the radar of Dreams FC at some point with reports suggesting that the player was on the way to finish his medical tests with the Dawu based side.

Yet, it seems Asante Kotoko has gazumped Dreams FC as they bid to replace Ishmael Abdul Ganiyu who has so far wouldn't extend his agreement with the club which was terminated.

Abdul Ganiyu has not signed another agreement with Kotoko following the termination of the long-term contract he signed when he joined Kotoko from Karela United a few years ago.

Kotoko has been a bit delayed in the transfers market since they won't play in any African competition. However, on a quiet note, they are getting ready for new signings for the next season.

The club, as of late shown that they are not reluctant to shop in the lower division with the likes of Kwame Opoku, Emmanuel Sarkodie, Francis Andy Kumi all joining from Division One and made their name when they joined Kotoko.

Maxwell Agyemang played every one of the 30 games for Wamanafo Mighty Royals last season with just a yellow card in the game against Berekum Arsenal and scoring three goals for his side in the division one league.
