Breaking: Benjamin Afutu Fired

Benjamin Afutu fired the local agent who stopped renewing the contract with Hearts [Pure FM]. According to Pure FM, the 25-year-old has started negotiations with Hearts of Oak's board chair Togbe Afede XIV.

Ghanaian midfielder Benjamin Afutu and Daniel William Taki break ties, and their local agent postpones redevelopment of the giant Oak Heart negotiations. The 25-year-old became a free agent after failing to come to terms with the Ghanaian winner, with his hometown agent blaming communication disruptions for the delay.

Afutu has yet to sign a new contract, as the Phobians showed their lineup for the CAF Champions League on Monday. According to Kumasi's Pure FM report, Phobians' hierarchy includes personally contacting players with Hearts board chair Togbe Afede XIV and leading negotiations to avoid losing midfielders.

The club's major shareholders promised to retain all the key players, and Afutu, a defensive midfielder who scored 5 goals in 29 league games, became Forbua's top priority. In the current situation, Afutu has realized that local agents have played a role in the main reasons for the slowness and delays in negotiations. Broadcast Bright reporter Kankam Boadu reported that due to events in the past 7 days, players may find themselves separated from their agents.
